DoorDash Dasher - Urgently Needed

JOB DESCRIPTION

Doordash is on the lookout for interested candidates for the role of dasher who will be responsible for delivering orders from local merchants to customer doorsteps.

As a Doordash dasher, you have to make your own schedule in which you would be delivering food and other items to customers thereby leaving you with a choice to pursue anything else in the time you are not delivering.

This role requires you to carry customer orders from your vehicle to their doorsteps and ring the residence bell to let the customer know that you have arrived with their order.

Being a Doordash dasher needs you to have either a four-wheeler, two-wheeler, or a bicycle for delivering customer orders.

You may, as a Doordash dasher have to talk to customers if they need any resolutions regarding their orders.

The applicants for this position can only apply if they are at least 18 years of age with a valid U.S driving license.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• A dasher has to set up his/her own schedule according to which he/she will be delivering orders to customers.
• Doordash dispatchers will be in touch with you to update you about the customer's location, name, address, contact information, and drop-offs.
• The payments for customer orders will be collected by you.
• As a delivery driver, you will make delivery records for every schedule you are and will be following.
• In case the customer lives nearby, you may have to carry their order from the merchant and deliver it to their house by means of walking.
• You may have to talk to customers about the delivery time and address other queries related to your delivery of the item.

Eligibility Criteria:

For a person to apply for the role of Doordash dasher, he must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Should be willing to undergo a company background check
• Should be willing to undergo a drug test prior to his/her hiring
• You should have a vehicle of your own as you will be needing it for delivering orders
• You should have a valid U.S driving license

• The hourly compensation for this role is up to $30 per hour
• You can earn $1000 per week if you drive for 8 hours daily for an estimated $25 - $30 per hour

Shifts:

As a Doordash dasher, you can work anytime between 24 hours depending on your own feasibility and requirement. You can either be a part-time dasher or a full-time delivery driver.

You can earn more on deliveries you make in the following time slots,

• Breakfast
• Lunch
• Dinner

While for off-peak deliveries the compensation is a bit low than what you make in peak hours.
